2011 being the European year of the ape, the Antwerp Zoo wanted to put this endangered species in the spotlight. In cooperation with Planckendael Mechelen, they set up a campaign where chimpanzees from the Zoo would compete against bonobos from Planckendael through a series of intelligence games. Their goals were met by an abundance of media coverage and more than 12,500 Facebook fans showing their devotion to their favorite team. Nivario took care of the digital part of this campaign, and created a website that handled the massive amount of visitors gracefully.
